Ducati Futa All Road, an Endurance e-bike for Dirt and Bikepacking.

Ducati has unveiled the Futa All Road, a new addition to the brand’s e-road bike lineup built for long journeys and tough terrain.
Ducati explains that… It’s a bike for individuals who prefer to forge their way and don’t want to give up the satisfaction of avoiding traffic. It’s for the delight of scenic routes and the challenges of lengthy climbs and difficult sections.

The engine of the current All Road bike is hidden in the hub, just like the road version, the Futa AXS. The battery is built inside the down tube.

The carbon monocoque frame focuses on aerodynamics and thus speed. A compact rear triangle with shorter chainstays improves riding comfort and reduces air resistance. Ducati states that this e-bike weighs only 12.4 kg (size M).

The FSA System HM 1.0 motor in the rear wheel hub, with 250 watts and 42 Newton meters of torque, provides pedal help in five stages. Riders may see riding statistics, remaining range, and battery charge status via the companion FSA app, which is available for iOS and Android.

At speeds over 25km/h, when EU standards no longer need the motor’s pedal assistance, Ducati claims that there is virtually no perceptible motor resistance and the pedal stroke remains energetic and fluid.

The 250Wh FSA battery incorporated within the down tube can be augmented with an additional 250Wh battery power via the range extender to cover extended distances.

The Futa All Road features the SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset, 160mm brake discs, a wireless 2×12 electronic shifting system, and Vision AGX30 wheels with carbon rims.

The FSA K-WING AGX Carbon handlebars designed for gravel provide superior ergonomics due to uniquely curved contact points. The position, with a 10-degree forward tilt, improves comfort and maneuverability while also allowing for a more
natural wrist position and a broader elbow position, which makes breathing easier.

The flared design of the handlebar arch improves steering control and aerodynamics. The cable routing is completely integrated with the frame.

Vittoria Terreno Dry tires are suited for mixed road and gravel applications. The differing tire widths of 38 mm at the front and 35 mm at the rear improve steering safety and comfort while also cushioning against bumps. The saddle is the Selle Italia SLR Boost model.

The Futa All Road is equipped with a bike-packing package that includes three Skuad bags for the saddle, handlebars, and frame. These are constructed of waterproof material and provide storage with a secure closing in a sleek style.

This new model adds to Ducati’s product line, which already comprises the Futa AXS e-road bike, the Powerstage RR e-MTB (complete carbon enduro), the TK- 01RR (aluminum enduro), and the MIG S.

The Futa All Road is available in four sizes ranging from S (53) to XL (59), with a price of €7,690. Delivery across Europe will commence in June 2024. The Futa All Road may be acquired from any Ducati dealer or online at shop.ducati.com.

Ducati will showcase its models at the Eurobike trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, from Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7 (Pavilion 12, Stand C20).
